Shall definitely be getting this game, unless they ruin it, mashed was such a great game and with no ps3 backwards compatibility on the ps3 it is our only hope for a mashed game on the ps3.

Mashed is the greatest multiplayer game EVER! We had 10 people lined up to play -> winner stays on
It’s just nuts that nobody came up with a good current-gen Micro Machines-style racegame yet. But Supersonic Software returns to save the day.
I hope the game gets all the multiplayer functions it deserves: 4 player offline MP and 4 player online MP with the Guest feature (to bring local players online).
and also a battle mode could be great, when
the level is not a race but a batle zone like in twisted metal.
also, that platform that carries the cars through the sea in one of the final levels was great, it reminds me of the “sumo” level in fuzion frenzy (similar to a minigame from mario party). i’ve always wanted a “sumo” type level on the playstation and so far
no game has done something like that for sony’s platform…
Oh my god i was searching the internet to actually find the company behind mashed, and contact them and beg them to make a ps3 sequel……I’m so happy

oh and here are some thoughts about the game:
if you can add more players to the race, i mean
about 6-7 cars fighting on the same screen
it could be amazing. i will buy 4 more controllers just for that…

I can’t wait for this game. neither will all of my friends once i tell them about Gas FFF.
Mashed was, and still is, the best party game ever, PERIOD.
The main reason, imo, was the physics (which was brilliant and created all the crazy/magic situations that made the game so special) and the humour. If Gas can maintain the physics bit this game is gonna be a killer.

I was planning on skipping this gen’s consoles, but when I saw Gas on the Supersonic site (and confirmed that it was coming to PS3), I was sold. Mashed was incredible (kart racing for adults) and this looks like a worthy sequel. Online component sounds great. Ha, I sound like a commercial. Hope it’s not the typically full-blown price, though, because I also need to pick up an extra copy for my bro.

This looks amazing. I’m looking forward to this more then anything. I’ve been playing Mashed with friends for years now, and everyone we introduce it too gets hooked too. Polar Wharf should definitely be brought back, and Ventura Boulevard too, if possible

Maybe an option to turn this health bar off? The most epic Mashed moments are the races that go on for 10 laps and where you recover from mines, rockets etc…

Mashed is still pretty much the only game my flatmates and I play together, despite having a PS3 and a 360. Most people just don’t get that people still like to play things in the same room. Really looking forward to this!

What’s the releasedate of this game?
Im also hoping they will make some kind of Polar Warf. The only map where it really mattered what kind of weapons you picked up and how you used them. Also the ice was hilarious.
i cant fucking wait for this
