having a big fuel pump doesnt mean anything if you dont have big injectors to go with it

well the computers control the fuel thats pumped in so any fuel pump will do
can you use a fuel pump from a v6 motor and put it in a 4 banger? wouldnt the extra fuel just go back in the pail.

It depends on the fuel pump. Some are like that some are not.
i always thought the fuel pump wasn’t submerged in gasoline, but a tube was dipped in from the pump
